This 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is powered by a 4.7L (289ci) V8 gasoline engine with 8 cylinders, delivering power to the rear wheels through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in red, repainted in 2017, with LED taillights and GT-style dual exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance.
The 15″ styled steel wheels are wrapped in 205/60 front and 225/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The front suspension was overhauled, and a front disc brake conversion with drilled and slotted rotors was installed in 2021.
The interior features red and white “Pony” vinyl upholstery with coordinated door panels, carpets, and dash trim. Equipment includes an under-dash air conditioning unit (overhauled in 2021), an aftermarket digital stereo, and a Holley Sniper display and control module in the glove box.
The steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 22,000 miles.
The 4.7L V8 engine, originally equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, was upgraded with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system in 2021, along with a replacement fuel tank, pump, and lines. It features an aluminum radiator, chrome shock tower brace, and dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission, resealed in 2020, and a rear axle rebuilt in 2020 with a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential.
This Ford Mustang Coupe is in excellent condition, with recent upgrades to the fuel system, brakes, and transmission, making it a well-maintained classic, backed by recent service records.
